This is due mainly to another characteristic of ozone water. As soon as ozone water is dispersed into the air, ozone molecules within ozone water begin to decompose rapidly. As the ozone concentration decreases to approximately 60% of its initial concentration, the potency of ozone water against potential bacteria and viruses becomes less effective.
Currently, scientific studies suggest that an ozone concentration of more than 1ppm is required to eliminate most of the bacteria and viruses of our world. Additionally, ozone is extremely susceptible to humidity and temperature. Therefore, for the reasons stated above, ozone water with a concentration of less than 3ppm would quickly decompose and not be considered a completely reliable solution when used for sterilising and deodorising. (ppm stands for "parts per million" and is a measurement unit used when indicating the concentration of a particular substance within the air or a specific solution.)

ULAS's rapid high-concentration ozone water generator is equipped with both a quick and normal mode, giving you the option to choose a mode that fits your needs.
For simple deodorisation and sterilisation, you can select 3ppm in quick mode. For a more meticulous and reassuring sanitising process, please select 5ppm in normal mode.
Furthermore, both the start switch and the electric spray switch use a touch sensor system that is easy to operate, while the spray is also equipped with a one-touch dial that allows you to freely adjust the angle of the spray toward the direction of the target in any given situation.

ulas O3 Familia uses three types of LED identification colour signals for the start switch and ozone water generation tank, with each colour indicating the current status of each function.
For example, if you select the quick mode, the water generation switch and the inside of the water generation tank will begin blinking in blue. When the generating process is complete, the blue light will stop blinking and stay lit. When the ozone concentration within the ozone water in the tank begins to drop below ULAS' recommended level, the tank will again begin to blink, informing the user that the water in the tank should be replaced.
Each LED colour has been carefully chosen to be distinct from one another not to cause any confusion during use.
Nikkiso Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo) studied the effect of ozone water on the new coronavirus in a joint research course "Medical Environment Innovation Course Collaboration Labo. M & N * 1" of Miyazaki University School of Medicine" and were able to verify that ozone water was indeed effective against the deadly virus. In March of 2021, after several further studies, a dissertation was published in the US scientific journal "Ozone: Science & Engineering". The dissertation included the following statement: "We evaluated the inactivating effect of ozone water against SARS-CoV-2 in relation to its concentration and exposure time and found that the reduction rates of the virus' titer after a 5 second treatment with ozone water in concentrations of 1, 4, 7, and 10 mg/L were 81.4%, 93.2%, 96.6%, and 96.6%, respectively. No further decrease in the virus titer was observed when the exposure time was extended past 5 seconds." Through the findings of this study, researchers concluded that highly concentrated ozone water was adequate in rapidly inactivating the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
In 2000, Professor Yukio Akahori and Professor Atsushi Murakami of the University of Shizuoka, together with Doctor Shoji Hoshi of Shizuoka Saiseikai General Hospital, published the "Bactericidal effects of ozone water and its application in the prevention of nosocomial infections" in Volume 7 of the Journal of the Japanese Society of Intensive Care Medicine.
Within the journal, they state that "Washing of the hands is one of the essential measures in preventing nosocomial infections, and is very efficient in blocking any fomite infections."
They further go on to state that "Ozone water has an extremely potent bactericidal effect and is significantly more effective against bacteria such as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), vancomycin-resistant enterococci (VRE), and other common multidrug-resistant bacteria than other disinfecting agents. Exposure to even a relatively low concentration of ozone water for 5 seconds will disinfect any bacteria completely. Since ozone within ozone water rapidly decomposes and cannot be stored, a supply device is needed for extemporaneous use, complete with functionality that complements the unique qualities of ozone water.
